New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV

At 4.50m long, The Citroën C5 Aircross SUV stands out for its powerful and dynamic personality, without being aggressive. It brings a breath of fresh air to the SUV segment with its wide and powerful front-end design, high sculpted bonnet and flowing lines punctuated with strong graphic features such as the Airbump®.

New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV is available with a panoramic sunroof (optional on Shine). The 360° glazed area around the car shows off a flowing roof design and the “C” chrome-finished signature reflecting its interior space. From the rear, its wide and tall appearance, suggests a class-leading boot space (from 580 to 720 litres). The rear headlamps are fitted with four LED oblong modules on each side of the vehicle.

The cabin of New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV is spacious and stately. It incorporates generous and flowing shapes, while remaining attentive to functional aspects. It features a robust dashboard with a horizontal layout.

On the driver side, the display screen offers a configurable digital instrument cluster with a 12.3-inch screen, which displays the selected driving information in the driver’s field of vision.

The wide and tall central console and the inviting seats set high give you a feeling of control over the road, and the choice of colours and materials all add to the impression of personalisation and refinement given by the interior.

New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV offers a broad range of personalisation options. These include up to 30 exterior combinations, with seven body colours (Bianca White, Perla Nera Black, Cumulus Grey, Nimbus Grey, Volcano Red, Crystal Emerald, Pearl White) and three anodised Colour Packs (Silver as standard, with White and Red available on Shine as a no cost option). Selected exterior colours can be combined with a Perla Nera Black roof and mirrors on Shine level.

The personalisation extends to the interior, with two ambiances that play on light, warmth and refinement: ‘Silica’ Grey Ambiance on Feel and ‘Metropolitan’ Grey Ambiance on Shine. (Please note, some specification shown in the video may not be available on NZ models).

The Silica Grey ambiance on the Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Feel expresses dynamism and vitality: Silica grey cloth seats with a light grey strip on the top of the seat backs. The console and dashboard insert are grey.

The Metropolitan Grey ambiance on the Citroën C5 Aircross SUV Shine plays on tone-on-tone refinement: Graphite grained leather and Graphite cloth seat upholstery with a dark grey strip on the top. Grey console and dashboard insert.

New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV is designed to provide advanced soundproofing with reduced road noise and wind noise thanks to double-laminated front windows with an insulated layer (standard on Shine), bringing its occupants exceptional, cocoon-like soundproofing. Particular attention was paid to the soundproofing of the engine compartment.

For the optimal comfort of passengers, New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV also offers an air purification system in the cabin, AQS for “Air Quality System”, which detects exterior air pollution and filters it by automatically adjusting the mode of circulation in the cabin.

New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV comes with a broad range of driver assistance systems, with up to 16 technologies (depending on the version) for safety, on-board comfort and simplified driving regardless of exterior conditions.

Using a camera, the Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go function (standard on Shine) detects the vehicle in front and automatically maintains a safe distance chosen by you. Using the brake and accelerator, it can safely stop and move off without any driver intervention.

The speed limit sign recognition and recommendation system on the Citroën C5 Aircross SUV recognises speed limit signs and displays this information on the instrument panel. This speed can be selected as an instruction for the speed limiter/cruise control in one simple movement. On the Extended system (standard on Shine), in addition to speed limit signs, it recognises certain road signs and transmits the information to the driver via the instrument panel (Stop signs / One-way signs / End of speed limit restriction).

The automatic high beam function (standard on Shine) makes driving at night safer and more relaxing thanks to the automatic management of high- to low-beam headlights (and vice versa).

New Citroën C5 Aircross SUV provides passengers with intuitive systems at the cutting edge of technology to offer them continuity between their digital universe and their car: the 8” tablet with a capacitive touchscreen, which allows users to adjust their car’s settings, access the multimedia system, telephone, air conditioning, and 3D navigation system (standard on Shine), as well as the Mirror Screen function, to connect your smartphone via Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™ or Mirror Link®.

The wireless smartphone charging plate (standard on Shine) and ConnectedCAM Citroën® (optional on Shine) complete the connectivity technologies on board.
